PAMS Christmas Meeting Summary

On January 11, 2015 PAMS met at the Jesuit Millennium Center in Chicago for an annual Christmas meeting. The event started out with a traditional mass lead by superior Jesuit, father Tomasz Oleniacz. During mass, the children of our members shared their talents. Aleksandra Betkowska graced us with her angelic classical soprano voice, and Julia Wodzień, performed a beautiful piece on her violin.

The delightful vocalist, Marek Bałata concluded the mass with a Christmas carol and then continued his performance in the adjacent church meeting room. There, next to the beautifully decorated nativity scene, members shared pieces of Christmas wafer with each other as they wished each other well in the New Year.

Spotkanie przygotowała p. mgr. Wanda Roztoczyńska-Roycewicz, przy aktywnej pomocy Dr. Marii Lysinskiej, Dr. Miry Dulczewskiej-Miller, Marka Nardelli oraz Dr. Janusz Danko, który wraz z Dr. Blanką Machnicą sponsorowali upominki dla dzieci.

The meeting was organized by Mrs. Wanda Roztoczyńska-Roycewicz, Dr. Mira Dulczewska-Miller, Mark Nardell and Dr. Janusz Danko, who along with Dr. Blanka Machnica sponsored the presents for the children.

Christmas Party for the Little Ones

On December 20th, 2014 Dr. Beata Danek organized a Christmas Party for “Dom Samotnej Matki” (shelter for mothers in need). The mothers and their children were warmly welcomed to enjoy an evening of face painting, games, dancing, and dinner. Santa also visited the party, bringing presents for all kids and their moms. This experience enriched us all with the real Christmas Spirit of sharing, love and joy.

Grota Banquets hosted and helped sponsor the event.  Deli 4 You supplied sweets, Literki Learning Center staff led children’s activities, and PAMS as well as many Polish doctors*,  helped provide gifts.
